She earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Houston and has advanced training in evidence-based therapies like EMDR, CPT, and DBT—basically, if it’s got an acronym, she’s probably certified in it. Dr. Doss is the founder and owner of MindView Psychology, PLLC, where she provides comprehensive psychological assessments for individuals presenting with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, trauma-related concerns, and a range of emotional or behavioral challenges. Her practice is dedicated to delivering thorough, evidence-based evaluations that promote self-understanding, clarity, and access to appropriate resources for personal growth and well-being. Over the past decade, she’s worked with just about every population you can imagine—from foster kids to veterans to folks navigating severe mental illness behind bars. Dr. Tara McKelvy Parker – Co-Host of the Psyched for Sanity Podcast Licensed Psychologist | Assessment Aficionado | Parent Coach with a Plan Dr. McKelvy Parker is a licensed psychologist who knows her way around both a clinical battery and a behavioral meltdown. With a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Texas and over a decade of experience across private practice, hospitals, schools, and college counseling centers, she brings deep expertise and steady perspective to every conversation. Dr. Parker specializes in therapy and assessment for children, adolescents, and adults, and has worked with a wide range of diagnoses—including ADHD, OCD, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and even the often-misunderstood Irlen Syndrome. She’s also certified in the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P), which means she’s armed with evidence-based strategies and plenty of empathy for overwhelmed caregivers. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Parker serves as Director of Assessment Training at DTA, where she helps shape the next generation of postdoctoral psychologists. Her research has focused on the academic, social, and emotional lives of kids with ADHD, but her real gift is translating complex psychological concepts into something listeners can actually use.
